Stockport County’s allocation of 1400 tickets have been completely sold out after the remaining 20 tickets went this morning.

1400 tickets were made available by Accrington, the most that they were allowed to give County, and despite County asking Accrington to move of that figure and offer more Stanley remained unmoved.

Fans are now being advised not to travel without tickets, saying that tickets are not available on the day – however the game is NOT all ticket, and therefore Accrington still accept cash on the turnstiles.

Travel is still available with coaches and trains both going to Accrington.

To travel from County call:
0161 286 8888

To travel from the Bobby Peel call:
07970 216696

To travel from the Fingerpost call:
07970 549194

To travel on the Junior Hatters call:
0161 487 2766
or
0161 456 7606

Other coaches are running but are completely sold out.

Do your best to get there, and lets get another three points!

  • Recipe for disaster. What Stanley should do is on the day make sure it is well known that say a couple of hundred extra County seats are available. I will be there with ticket nice and early.

  • Todays Express lists the Greyhound, the Oak, The Grey Horse and the Crown in Accrington as “rolling out the welcome mat for the visiting Blue and White Army”. Nice. Deep fried Black pudding anyone?
