Ian Bogie has resigned as manager of Stockport County. Ian’s decision followed the 3-1 defeat at Harrogate Town.

A match report will be forthcoming in a few hours.

Many feel that Bogie faced a difficult task – the complete rebuilding of a squad on a shoe-string budget.

It does look like many of the players are not up to the standard required in Division 6.

We need new investment, new people running the club and a much greater fan input.

We need those shareholders who do not give a fig to walk away and we need a realistic price for Edgeley Park so that we, the fans, can at least try to secure our home.

Don’t blame it on the Bogie, blame it on the owners.

Oh County, what have you become……
