[ From the Stockport County Supporters Cooperative ]

Ahead of County’s game with Harrogate Town on Boxing Day, we have another appeal to put before you.

This year the Stockport County Supporters Cooperative will be asking County fans to donate food in support of Stockport Homeless Charity the Wellspring.

To support this effort please just turn up from 1.30 on Boxing Day, prior to the fixture against Harrogate Town, and leave your donation of food with the Supporters Cooperative in the Cabin in the Cheadle End Car Park.

What do we want you to donate?

Tea Bags
Coffee
Sugar
Jam
Milk
Biscuits
Cans ( Soup, Meat, Fish, Tomatoes etc)
Fruit Juices etc

Your donations will be passed on to the Wellspring , who we can tell you from past experience, are extremely grateful as are the Stockport homeless to whom they give a lifeline in what are hard times.

Christmas is also the time when the Wellspring holds its Rucksack Project – collecting warm clothing for when the weather takes a turn for the worst.

So …if you have any suitable clothing items ( Bobble Hats, Gloves, Sleeping Bags, Socks etc) please bring them to the Cabin on Boxing Day and the Wellspring will put them to good use.

Now….a short video giving you a taste of just what the Wellspring is about.

County Supporters have stepped up to the plate magnificently many times to support those in our Borough less fortunate than themselves.

We thank you for that and ask for your continued support with this latest effort.

Attached please find a J Peg flier, feel free to please print off and display in your local pub….

Another great initiative from the Coop. Building the club back up also means help building up the local community IMO.
