County or Peterborough will play Bury at Gigg Lane in the second round of the FA Cup after the draw was made live on ITV today.

A 1-1 draw with Gary Johnson’s Peterborough United side at Edgeley Park yesterday took the tie to a replay at London Road, which will be played on Tuesday 13th November.

The victors of that first round tie will meet The Hatters’ League Two rivals – and County’s league opponents for this Saturday.

In other news in the draw, AFC Wimbledon will play MK Dons if they can overcome their first round replay. Mmmm. Tasty one, that!

We’ll not get past Posh at their place. Not bovvered. Just hope we re-build our confidence and get the back four to gel effectively. Come on County!

We need to get through Ra-Ra-Roger. Getting into the next round is a must, it will give us some much needed revenue. We need to get as far as possible in this competition. And yes we need to re-build our confidence in defence. Lets hope that it improves next Saturday at Bury. I am still of the opinion that we need a battler in midfield who is able to control the play from defence to the forwards. In a thread some while ago I said that Hendry was available, just look how Bradford have improved since his arrival.
That’s the kind of player that County can do with. Taking control of the midfield will take the pressure of the defense and will build up the attacks. Which in turn will create the goals that we so badly need. So lets get a result at Bury, Go-Go-County!!!!!

I’m with you MA ! Looking forward to the Bury game, I always seem to be absolutely merry by kick-off and win/lose or draw follow the game with more exploration of the world of real ale. Some long journeys back after on the Metrolink mind !
