Liam Dickinson scored a hattrick as County ran rampant at Cheadle Heath Nomads last night, scoring seven goals.

The friendly was down to be an Under 21 game, but several first team players played including Keith Briggs, Ashley Williams, Michael Raynes and Liam Dickinson.

Keith Briggs was one of those who got a goal, with one of those goals similar to the one at Grimsby away last season. Michael Raynes also scored. James Vincent and Chris Coward were the other players to net.

Starting 11: Imeson; Briggs, Williams, Raynes, Havern; Ellis, Vincent, Elliott, Ennis; Coward, Dickinson.

County also recorded an impressive win on Saturday at Hednesford Town, running out 4-0 winners.

Adam Proudlock scored two after coming off the bench, along with the trialist Campbell and Anthony Pilkington.

County entertain Championship side Hull City on Saturday at Edgeley Park, with a 3pm kick off.

  • I have got good vibes about this season. Its all about fitness at this stage though that hat trick for Dicko would have done him no harm!
