County Accepting Job Applications

In another bizarre piece of PR work, the club are accepting applications for the ‘vacant’ managerial job at EP on their website.

The article uploaded today on COWS (County’s official website) states the following:

Stockport County Football Club are looking to recruit a Football Manager. All applicants should have appropriate qualifications and experience relevant to this very important role and will need to provide a full CV with any application. As he explained to the media after the game at Crewe, Ray Mathias has already put his application in to the Board of Directors.

Good grief. It continues on with an email address for available managers to email into the Board of Directors their application and CV.

I might run a contest to see which County fan can do the best made-up application and send it in. Or not.
