Sven Goran-Eriksson has helped out his old mate Didi Hamann by allowing the County boss to bring in young striker Elliott Chamberlain on a short-term loan deal.
Hamann stated when he first joined County that he wanted to build a team that was our’s permanently without the need to rely on loanees, but the German has started to fine-tune his squad with the addition of young Chamberlain today.
The Welsh striker is described by Foxes fans as ‘very quick with a real eye for goal’ – the 19 year-old has represented his national side at every level up to and including the under-21 side.
Chamberlain, who has joined on an initial one-month deal, will be fighting for a starting spot in tomorrow’s clash with Kettering Town at Edgeley Park.
