County Close To Five Signings

Director Tony Evans claims County are close to completing deals for five new signings before the weekend.

Evans took to Twitter to ‘announce’ that striker Nick Chadwick is undergoing a medical tomorrow morning ahead of a deal, whilst Scottish full-back Ryan McCann is also on the verge of signing.

The Liverpudlian investor also stated that three more players were being brought in by manager Didi Hamann this week, but that international clearance was holding up the deals.

International clearance is something which is needed to clear players who have never played in England to sign for English clubs.

We believe one of those is defensive midfielder Euan Holden, a Scot-born American – brother of Bolton Wanderers midfielder Stuart.
