County host Barrow

County host Barrow tonight (Tue 4th March).

It is a 7:45 kick off and the weather looks to be set fair. No rain, no frost so if you are thinking of going only one pair of thermal undies will be required.

Barrow lie 5 points above County having played a game more but that does not tell the whole story.

Over the last eight games Barrow are the form team. Their last eight games read WWDWWWDW so we will be in for a tough game if that is anything to go by.

County beat Barrow up at Holker Street 4-2 back in October who were managed by Dave Bayliss at that point. It’s all change now though and under the guidance of new manager Darren Edmondson, Barrow have moved up the Skrill North table and now have an outside chance at the play-offs.

County have stuttered of late – I would describe the performance at Leamington as limp at best but Jacobs, Dennis and Fagbola may return to the starting line-up today.

You can get 6/4 on a County victory and I am going to be uncharacteristically optimistic and say County to win 1-0

Come on County!
