County’s squad received a welcome boost three times over today when Jim Gannon completed the signings of full-back Jamie Smith, goalie Conrad Logan and veratile midfielder Dominin Blizzard.

Jamie Smith joins on a months loan from Liverpool. The 21 year-old right back spent a loan spell at Ross County last season and will fill the right back position vacated by the injuries of several first teamers. The young scouse born defender also has the option to extend the loan until the end of the season if the first month is succesful.

Conrad Logan joins on a season long loan deal from Championship team Leicester City. The 21 year old goalie has been tracked by Gannon for some time now and he has finally got his man. The confident stopper spent an extremely succesful loan spell at Boston in 2006 and last season broke into the Leicester first team making 20 appearances for the club.

Dom Blizzard arrives on a 2 year contract. The combative shielding midfielder played a number of games for County during a loan spell at the back end of last season before joining MK Dons, where he was later released this summer.

The squad is shaping very nicely now and looks to be pretty much complete just in time for the new season.

Bring on Saturday!!!

  • Well done all involved with the signing of Blizzard. Water under the bridge all the MK dons nonsense. He should get a great reception at EP.
Blizzard, Taylor and Dicker in midfield… thats a league 1 midfield if you ask me! Fancy us now. Play-offs at least.

Cannot wait for Saturday now. Scarfs at the ready….
