Dunfermline Athletic are reporting that a Stockport County player may be joining them on trial tomorrow.

The Scottish Premier League side have named the other two players that will go on trial with them, but are not to name the County player who it may be.

From the club`s website squad list, it appears they only have one striker and one left back.

In other transfer news, Jamie Ward has yet to make a decision on who he will be joining. He was said to be making a decision by the end of this week, but nothing has come out of any of the three main clubs involved today.

Slightly off topic, County legend Luke Beckett has joined Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee from Sheffield United.

Hope its not Spencer. If we can get Spencer to sign up for 2 years he could be worth a fair bit to County come the end of the season. Hand on heart I cant see Spencer being with us for 2007-8… lets hope he is with us for 2006-7 eh?

Wallis….as a long suffering exiled Dunfermline fan who lives in Edgeley I feel you have to give me the right of reply…as a fan of football I’ve been down to Edgeley Park (LOL!!) on occassion supporting the local team…I’m surprised DAFC are even looking a County player…I haven’t seen anything worthy of consideration…Greyhound I may stand corrected but I’d be surprised if it was your keeper…
