County are to receive around £300k/£400k cash windfall due to the sale of Anthony Pilkington to Premiership Norwich.
The Hatters sold Pilkington to Huddersfield Town in 2009 for £550k, and immediately agreed a deal with the Terriers for us to be guaranteed 20% of any transfer fee over that amount that they would receive for the winger.
And today, Pilkington has signed for Norwich City of the Premiership…and it’s a nightmare for the media as we haven’t got a clue what the exact fee is!
SCFC are due a £300k/£400k cash injection from the sale.
More news coming soon as County confirm a second bid for striker Ryan Lowe, as well as bids for two other players.
Things looking up?

says on sky sports news its thought to be around 1 million!! surely not they rejected 1.7 the first time didn’t they??
It’s not £1m. Hudders’ chairman says ‘a multimillion pound deal.’
£2m is being said at moment, good sell on fee for us that hope we get to spend it all on players.
I hope the new owners are spending fresh money and not spending this cash. This amount roughly rubs out the loss of money from dropping out of the league. I am beginning to get enthused again!
