Stockport County have announced the signing of Gareth Owen on a two-year deal, from League One side Oldham Athletic.
Owen has been on loan at County all season, and in the second half of the season was made captain of the team.
The defender made 42 starts for County last season, and was voted player of the season by the fans.
County have now signed Gary Dicker and Gareth Owen, with more signings expected in the future.
