Gareth Owen has today signed for County on a one year loan deal.
The 26 year old defender has joined from League One side Oldham Athletic for the duration of the 2006-2007 season.
This is the third signing that Jim Gannon has made during pre-season, all being more defensive signings. Left Back Michael Rose and Gareth Owen could both play a part in a new defence in the first home game against Hereford, whilst Tony Dinning could skipper the side in midfield.
