County sign Stevie G

County have today signed midfielder Stephen Gleeson from Wolves.

Gleeson was a favourite with the County fans in the 9 game run last season, and has returned to help County win promotion.

Speaking to stockportcounty.com, he said:

‘County outplayed Hereford in every position on the pitch. They just passed the ball around and we couldn’t get near them.’

‘They proved they can definitely challenge Hereford and I don’t think anyone can hold it against County if they finished third.’

Lets hope Stevie can help us grab that third and final automatic spot then!
