Stockport County will make the two hour journey to Worcester City for a pre-season friendly on the 31st July.
Nothing has been confirmed from County yet, but Worcester City are reporting that County will visit on the final Tuesday in July.
It would mean that County would face two friendlies in two days, with a trip to Woodley Sports planned for the following night.
Andy Preece is Worcester City’s manager, and with him being a former County player, links with Jim Gannon appear to have sorted out the friendly.

I know Worcester well. Its a nice city to wander round and go for a drink or seven. My recommendation is that if you are going, get there early and have a good look round. There is a pub that serves ‘Roger and Out’ which I think makes Old Tom look feeble. So just a half there then…..
