It is going to be part of a three-day break to Ireland. The team will leave for Ireland on Monday for the three-day week.

04/08/07 15:00 – Crewe Alexandra V Stockport County

County now have SEVEN pre-season games, with two home games and five away games.

UCD are a University side in Ireland but compete in the Eircom Premier League, in which they are currently 6th after 14 games. County most recently signed Gary Dicker from the University side.

I have seen UCD play only once. It was a game at Shelbourne, which Shelbourne won 4-2. They are a well organised team who work hard. Being only a university side they had about ten fans in one stand who sung away all night! It really was an intersting sight and something you rarely see in Football in England.

Who is going to Ireland then for a week anyway?! I might….
