County entertain Darlo tonight. The wind and rain will no doubt be lashing down. The water will no doubt drip down onto those sitting in the Pop Side. The lower Cheadle End may well be sparsely populated but at least County will get three points.

Why so confident in a win despite being without the injured Fraughan,Rowe,Routledge and McConville?

Well Darlo away from home are one win, a couple of draws and four defeats. They have shipped 10 goals. We are also well overdue a comprehensive win. So a 2-0 win in which we also miss a fist-full of chances will occur.

My optimism knows no bounds so I will go even further and say that a member of our board will actually turn up and watch. Yep. I can recommend Holland and Barratts Vitamin D(elusion) pills.

In all seriousness surely tonight we will take the spoils?

The match will be covered on Pure 107.8 FM and also BBC Radio Tees – for those ex-pats in the UK this may be online – check HERE

(I wonder if this sort of service will survive the BBC cuts over the next few years?)

Come on County!

Sorry about the weather back home, here it is very sunny and 32 degrees. But I will miss the match tonight. I like your thoughts on a County win but I think another draw is on the cards. Hope I am wrong. To many changes week after week by Didi is not allowing the team to settle into any one pattern, he needs to let the team settle for a few weeks and then just tinker on the edges for improvement. Score tonight 2-2.

MA – the weather really is vile at the moment. A good test for the pitch. Hope the improvements made over the summer hold good. My seat in the Main Stand has been dry for the last few years but I do know both the Main Stand and the Pop Side suffer when it buckets down. Still unusually optimistic about the game. Heading for a fall aren’t I ?

Cropped optimistic or not I do hope they win. Another draw or a loss just won’t do. Lets hope that the weather improves for tonight and that the match is not called off. No such problems here, I am sat outside having a Cerveza and trying to keep cool. Will be listening tonight on Pure.

A Draws no good tonight, 3 points otherwise it won’t be long before EP turns into a Ghost Town. People already staying away, gates dropping to 3000 as York brought 680 fans and not many teams will bring high numbers. Must win, got to win I don’t think I could through another season like the other 2, Lessons must be learnt if Didi is not up to it then he must go sooner rather than later to give someone else any chance. So COME ON COUNTY !!!!!
LETS TEAR THEM APART AND BAG OURSELVES SOME GOALS.
