County midfielder has sealed a move to League One Brighton, but the move will be delayed while the Melrose Consortium complete their takeover of cash-strapped County.
Dicker joined Albion for a three month loan spell at the back end of last season, and helped the Seagulls retain their League One status with a goal in his 9 appearances, on the way to form of five wins, two draws and just two defeats.
Speaking to the Argus newspaper in Brighton, Irishman Dicker said:
“My agent is just waiting for the consortium to take over at Stockport, because the administrators don`t want to sell anyone or let anyone go until it has all been processed.’
“I just have to wait for that to go through and then I can sign. Hopefully it will be done early next week and then I will be able to get the go-ahead and get moving.’
“Hopefully by the end of next week it will be wrapped up but you never know. It has taken so long already.’
“I like Brighton and I enjoyed it there last season. I am looking forward to coming back.”
VitalStockport would like to thank Gary for his efforts and wish him luck with his new career move.
