Do County want promotion?

Stockport County have let their captain leave on loan till the end of the season when just five points away from automatic promotion.

Ashley Williams has joined Swansea City on LOAN till until the end of the season.

Fair enough let him go at the end of the season – but Swansea are five points clear at the top of League One and are likely to get automatic promotion – they are ten points clear of third place!

Really if we wouldn’t have let him go now he would have had no interest in the summer?

All I can say is that County now face a stiff battle for promotion.
