County have a difficult a potentially tricky away game at Boston on Saturday (19th) where I hope we can come away with something and then we are into the festive season.

Given County’s position, the festive period seems to be a possible make or break point of this campaign.

Boxing Day we have Harrogate Town at Edgeley Park for a 3 p.m. kickoff.

Harrogate are a just ahead of County in the table and exactly the type of opponents we must beat at home.

The Yorkshire club are in indifferent form with 2 wins, 2 defeats and 2 draws from their last six games.

Bank Holiday we are off to Stalybridge Celtic with the home side below us in the table and in less than indifferent form with four defeats and two wins out of the last six.

Dare I say it… another must win game of we are to be serious about reaching the play-offs?


Saturday 2nd January see the return fixture againt Harrowgate. A draw there pretty please?


So come the evening of the 2nd January I hope we are looking at a 7 points haul from over Christmas.

Six points a little bit disappointing. Anything less and… well… pfft.. County’s Division 6 odyssey looks set to continue IMO.
