Gannon misses out again!

Jim Gannon has missed out on the manager of the month award once again, this time with Swindon manager Paul Sturrock taking the award.

And it seems as though the curse already struck, when Sturrock’s Swindon were beaten on Saturday against Hartlepool, a match that didn’t count towards the award.

In January County lost their first two games, away at Shrewsbury and Watford, though Watford was in the FA Cup, and then went onto win the next four consecutive games without conceding a goal.

Gannon also continued County’s magnificent home unbeaten run, which now streches back ten games in league and cup.

However, I’m sure Mr Gannon would rather he went on unnoticed until the end, which is when we steal that last automatic promotion place – because we all well know, that is the real award.

Not fussed. As you say the end result (play off or automatic promotion) is all that matters. We know we have a superstar here and thats all that matters.

Will not lose sleep, at least we haven’t got the curse, one by one the team’s above us managers can get it and get the curse so they all fall down the league
