Well it was bound to happen. Possibly County’s greatest ever manager has gone for good and won’t be coming back.

VitalStockport understands Jim Gannon has verbally agreed to take charge of Motherwell on Monday next week, after beating off competition from Steve Staunton and Lawrie Sanchez.

More soon.

But thanks, Jimbo. Thanks for all the effort and commitment and we can all only pray that you’d return to Edgeley Park one day.

Well. I met someone in a pub last night. And the things he told me about County’s plight that have not come out into the open were absolutely shocking. Jimbo going puts the tin lid on it. I forecast Conference football in two years time.

Thanks Jim, don’t blame you at all for going. Hope to see you again one day.

What a kick in the nuts, such a great club, you don’t deserve this turmoil.

I’m absolutely gutted…choking up and thinking what’s going to happen to our club.Jim was the best thing to happen to our club for the last 10+ years, and to think we’ll not see him again as our manager really hurts bad.Don’t get me wrong, I wish him all the best, as it’s not his fault as to who’s messed this club up.He did the best he could with what he was given, and then improved it! If the conference isn’t our next step then I’ll show my a**e in Stockport town centre, on a Saturday at 3.00pm kick off time.I’ve bought my season ticket, but I’m not sure if I now want a refund. We’ll get so many pastings this season we’ll be like a strip of wallpaper.God only knows what the administrators are playing at…for god sake get your fingers out, agree the deal, dot the i’s and cross the t’s, and lets try and bring some pride back to this town….Just one other thing..where are all those so called county ”Supporters” that were at wembley? If you know one of them, embarrass them and try to get them to go every week, and not just for a one trip wonder day.17000 went and if half of them turned up week in,week out we wouldn’t be in this mess.
