Gateshead will see at least seven of their remaining Blue Square Premier played at Victoria Park, the home of Hartlepool United, due to the state of their current ground in Gateshead.

Hartlepool is about 30 miles from Gateshead, giving their supporters a bit of a travel and not much advantage for the remaining home games.

Gateshead currently sit 20th and its a decision I feel could ultimately relegate them.

County are due to visit on the final Tuesday of the season – the 16th April, with the game to kick off at 7:45pm.

If we play like we played against Tamworth we’d be better to give them the points, stay at home and save the petrol money. What happened to DKs idea of playing people in their best positions. What a shambles. We bring a defender in on loan for a month hes yet to play in defence??? leading goalscorer taken off at half time, left wide player brought on plays in the middle, This Swedish lad up front doesnt know if hes on this earth or fullers. Dont know what game the match sponsors were watching but Fagbola man of the match!!! If it hadnt been for O’Donnell they could easily have scored 4 or 5, now theres your real man of the match. I wonder if Mr Snape will be seeing the manager this week about the unacceptable level of performance against a part time team with a much smaller playing budget!!! Weve got some really difficult games coming up. The odds are that we wont get much from them which puts us right back into a relegation fight.

Fair comment NE and yes there are some tough games up and coming and in rapid succession to boot. Don’t think PS will say anything publicly to DK as he’s only on a three month contract anyway. Hereford Tuesday Hmmmmm???? Thankfully today’s results didn’t hurt us too much.
