Striker Antonio German has joined County until January after he was released by Premiership side Q.P.R.

German joins fellow striker Michael Paton & former Wrexham defender Chris Blackburn as Didi Hamann’s new signings this week.

The 19 year-old has had loan spells at Aldershot Town, Southend Utd & Yeovil Town since 2009 – but after Neil Warnock’s side were promoted to the Premier League, German was let go.

The forward can go straight into Hamann’s squad for tonight’s televised match against Luton Town at Edgeley Park, subject to clearance.

Good luck to Antonio at County.

I have a feeling that this kid could do something special for us this season. Maybe we can keep him until May? Final piece of the jig-saw to get us into the play-offs I hope.

I hope so Moor. If we can find someone who can score us 20+ goals, then we’ll be there abouts. The team is still getting used t each other – so fingers crossed. I just hope Mr Evans and the board can come to an agreement, as I’m starting to get that dreaded feeling again!

Could not make it. Saw some of it on a free web stream but the feed kept freezing. I hope this is just teething troubles and that we won’t see the team gel for another half a dozen games. Still cautiously upbeat.

Kid, there was some good football but its the strikers that cant cut it, chadwick missed another grat chance and german tried to side foot a cross when he should have headed it blackburn looked comfortable in front of back 4. Front men need to do what they are paid for – perhaps a big ask to put german on straight off. Elliot first and then sub german to give him fair chance

I am still quite happy seem to be playing some great football just no idea’s up front, even though mid table still in shouting distance of top 4 just can not fall of the pace any more. Heard some people already asking for Didi’s head??? how silly. Any more news on the take over??? if it does not go through do not know what the future will hold.
