Stockport County head to Edgar Street on Saturday in search of 3 more points to consolidate their promotion push against Hereford. County travel on the back of four straight league victories, which also includes four clean sheets.

Having not conceded since new years day and winning several crucial games since County find themselves placed in 6th spot with everything to play for. Another crucial game against Hereford awaits tomorrow.

Hereford come into tomorrows game with just one win from the last six games coming against Notts County last weekend in a 3-2 score line. They also pulled back from 2 goals behind on Tuesday night to draw with Bury. County haven`t lost in any of their last 3 trips to Hereford and their last visit included a 2-0 victory in the F.A cup last season.

Our last meeting came on the opening day of the season when County somehow found themselves on the wrong side of a 2-0 score line after dominating the match throughout. One things for sure now though, County are a much better team for the struggle at the beginning of the season!

A win tomorrow could bring County to within 6 points of automatic promotion if other results were to go our way.

Kick-off time is 3 p.m. However there will not be full commentary on Imagine FM due to a lack of technological facilities at Edgar Street, John Keighren and Des Hinks will however provide regular updates via mobile phone on Imagine FM.

Speaking to Herefords official website Graham Turner said, “We`ve had a good week results wise and if we can build on that with a win on Saturday then we will all be delighted. Last Saturday`s home performance was one of our best of the season and we must strive to live up to the same standards against Stockport. We have shown what we are capable of on occasions, what we need to do now is deliver that type of performance more regularly.”
