County’s game at Hyde which was abandoned after 88 minutes is to be replayed.

The Conference have spoken, and this is what they said

‘Following the abandonment of the Vanarama Conference North fixture between Hyde and Stockport County on Saturday 28 March, due to the pitch becoming unsafe & unsuitable following a rainstorm, the Board of the Football Conference has examined the Match Referee`s report along with submissions by both Clubs.

The Board has ordered the match to be replayed in its entirety under financial terms commensurate with a Cup Tie. A re-arranged date will be announced after consultation with the clubs.

Either club has the right of appeal against the Board`s decision, to the Football Association.’

The decision was announced yesterday April 1st but ’tis no joke.

What will the admission price be I wonder?

Not sure if I can be bothered to type any more let alone think about going to this game.

The joys of division six….

Cropped.
