In Gannon We Trust……..

Following Stockports 2-2 draw on Saturday against Stalybridge Celtic, tomorrow marks the day of the replay in which county hope they can pick up their first win under Jim Gannon.

Stockport travel to Bower Fold with a full squad available for selection. Jim selected Joe Edwards to start on Saturday in a game where he showed some real class and one can only hope he is kept in the side. Carl Piergianni hopes that he can make the starting line up tomorrow after his second half display at the weekend.

The Badgers have enjoyed a good start to the 2011-2012 season as they currently sit in 2nd position in the Blue Square North with former Arsenal man James Harvey in charge. So far this season Celtic have played 20 games and from this they have picked up 46 points and sit just 6 points behind the current leaders Hyde with a two game advantage.

The County faithful hope for a better away trip, with the previous Tuesday night away encounter ending up in a 7-0 defeate away at Grimsby. If Stockport beat Stalybridge tomorrow night then they will play Guiseley in the second round of the FA Vase.

My team prediction for tomorrow is:

Glennon

Halls Piergianni O’Donnell Edwards

Cole Nolan Routledge Rowe

McConville Elliot

My score prediction is: Stalybridge 1 County 2 (Elliot, McConville)

away attendance: 225

County hope to take a good following to Bower Folw where tickets are prices at £10 for adults, £6 for concessions and £1 for under 14 ‘s.
