Jim Gannon has been named manager of Stockport County, signing an 18-month contract at Edgeley Park earlier today.

And to the club – there will be at least one extra ticket for next season! Come on County fans one and all – get behind the manager even if he wasn’t everyone’s first choice (poll showed 51% support for JG)
Good luck Jimbo. It may take time to bring younger players who are committed to the club through but 5 years back into the football league seems more than just a dream now. Wonder if any Vics players will be joining us?
This is great news. For once we will have someone in charge who actually cares about the future of SCFC. Too late for this season but the prospects for next season look much brighter.
