Hereford are the second team to come up from the Conference, along with Accrington Stanley, after they won the play-off final 3-2 yesterday against Halifax.

Ryan Green scored an extra-time winner for Hereford, despite them falling behind twice in normal time.

Halifax took the lead in the 27th minute through Lewis Killeen, but Hereford hit back seven minutes later to make it 1-1 at half time.

Halifax once again took the lead in the 73rd minute, but once again Hereford hit back seven minutes later to send the game into extra time.

Ryan Green was then Hereford?s hero, as he scored in the 108th minute to send Hereford back into the Football League.

The last time County and Hereford met was in the FA Cup 2nd round this season, and County came out 2-0 victors.

The final team in League Two will be decided next Sunday, when the loser of Grimsby Town versus Cheltenham Town will stay in this league.

God! Halifax why couldn’t you win this?! Now its another 2 and a half hour journey instead of a 40 minute journey. Never mind though eh, Hereford and Accrington or Oxford and Rushden? I know which I prefer!

Pleased with this. Accrington a local day out. Hereford I can indulge in REAL cider and chew some straw. What more could anyone want? Come on County 06-07!!!
