I tried to praise them. It appeared that we were starting a new era – a statement was released and it was refreshing, honest and positive.

It listed the boardroom changes after the exit of the Gibbons’, and it looked pretty good.

Didn’t last though. Yes, it may not be the biggest sin ever, but it’s just par for the course with the long line of blunders that have been made over the last year by 2015.

‘Amendments to Board Changes included in Board Statement issued on 22/5/2011.

As part of the Boardroom statement on Sunday the changes in both Stockport Community Leisure Company Limited and Stockport County 2010 Limited were listed. Unfortunately the changes to the Board of Stockport County 2010 Limited were incorrect, the changes should have read as follows:

Stockport Community Leisure Company Limited:

Ken Graham, Chairman

Mike Clark, Director

Stewart Vann, Director

Richard Park, Director

Kevan Taylor, Director

Stockport County 2010 Limited:

Lord Peter Snape, Chairman

Ken Graham, Director

Mike Clark, Director

Kevan Taylor, Director

Our apologies for any confusion caused by the initial statement.

Lord Snape, fresh after labelling fans ‘keyboard warriors’, the new chairman. Inspiring.
