MK v County – Team News

All the team news ahead of tonights clash of the old L2 rivals County and MK Dons!

County travel to stadium:mk tonight looking to keep up their unbeaten away record this season, although 10th placed MK Dons will prove stiff competition.

Onto the team news then, and striker Matty McNeil will not return to training until next week after his sickening ‘clash’ with Colchester defender Paul Reid.

Keeper Owain fon Williams is left out, and deputiser keeper, on loan Fraser Forster, is NOT named captain after all! Jimmy McNulty is now captain, after a mistake from MK Franchise in the team sheets left County fans bemused. Tommy Rowe is left out of the side after referee Darren Deadman stepped on his foot on Saturday (probably not intentional, but we wouldn’t put it past him!) so he starts on the bench tonight. Peter Thompson takes his place up front along with Anthony Pilkington. There is no Gary Dicker in the 16, but Jason Taylor returns straight to the side for tonights important clash.

Full line-up:

STOCKPORT COUNTY: Fraser Forster, Jim McNulty (c), Jaroslaw Fojut, Tony Kane, James Tunnicliffe, Carl Baker, Jason Taylor, Stephen Gleeson, Leon McSweeney, Anthony Pilkington, Peter Thompson
