Moors next for County

County travel to the West Midlands to face Solihull Moors this weekend. If County are to keep alive their slim hopes of a play-off position a win seems mandatory.

‘Moors’ formed by the merger of Moor Green and Solihull Borough and who play in rugby-like blue and yellow bars have lost 4 of their last 6 games, and despite being currently just outside the play-offs are in 18th position the current forum table

So a win is not off the cards and I will plump for a narrow County 1-0 victory!

Life as a traveling County fan has been incredibly hard over recent years. There has to be more than watching a thumping defeat, in an uncovered away end in the wind and rain. Well, apparently, there is!

‘Man In A Hat’ (MIAH) tells his story of away games at Telford and the non-event that was Worcester City away recently.

A brilliant read can be found on Ian Brown’ site .

Have a look at Telford – the Promised Land? – It has certainly tipped the balance for me. Leamington away with a stop over is booked.

And as I used to say when I was young (and lazy) …. ‘win or lose, we’re on the booze’

Cheers
