Mullins Signs?

Mullins rejected an improved contract offer from Mansfield, but County and several League Two clubs inlcuding Darlington were interested in him.

The highly rated right back/centre back wants to carry on playing in the football League, but County appear to have won the race for the Player Of the Year at Mansfield, as League One football may prove a more attractive offer for him.

Mullins won Player of the Year last season, and considering how many goals Mickey Boulding scored, that is no mean feat.

The deal is almost complete and Mullins may sign next week.
