Northampton Push County Closer To BSP

Northampton battled back from two goals down tonight against Rotherham United to claim a point at Sixfields and push County closer to relegation.

The Hatters and caretaker boss Ray Mathias travel to Port Vale tomorrow knowing that we MUST now claim three points to prolong our 106-year stay in the Football League.

Anything other than a win for SCFC in Burslem will most likely leave us officially relegated, needing ten points to survive with only nine available.

Sigh.

What happened to that once-proud football club which it was, for want of a better word, ‘cool’ to support?

I’ll tell you wahat happened – Brian Kennedy, Cheshire Sports, Sale Sharks, David Farms and the rest of the blood sucking low life leeches that fleeced and shafted the club and the fans! Its all very well Brendan Ellwood coming on the Radio and bleating about how he warned The Supporters Trust not to get involved with Cheshire Sports but why did YOU sell the club Mr Ellwood!!

What really annoys me is the amount of punishment any club gets for going into administration, -10pts, assets stripped, best players going for peanuts when the sale of 1 or 2 would have cleared the debt, then a transfer embargo. Having to make do with loan players, who lets face it their own clubs want to off load them cos the majority of them are crap!! What a joke!!

Oh yes not to forget the FA / FL who always had a dislike for the club – for a small club who achieved so much – they dont like that!! and SMBC who only offered any help when it was too late – they would much rather be associated with Arab Blue and moneybags Sale – County are really a bit of an embarrament to them!!

    Spot on again Rylester!
