The immanent departure of County skipper Nick Chadwick has today to the joy of some of the County following been confirmed with the clubs leading striker joining league two strugglers Plymouth on a two month loan deal that sees Chadwick a Pilgrim player until January 2nd 2012.

As the leading scorer has left the club, the question of where goals will come from I ask?

Well in response to this County have today confirmed the signing of 19 year old Aaron Cole who can play on either wing with the County website describing the winger as ‘versatile’ as he is also able to play in the full back position. With no Football League experience to his name 19 year old Cole comes to The Hatters with the a limited experience of Blue Square North side Eastwood Town of which he enjoyed a 28 day loan back at the start of the season.

Now with only three recognised strikers left at the club Tom Elliot, Antonio German and Michael Paton aim to compete for a place in the starting line up for this weekend` home game against Southport.

    Josh 2 more strikers on the books are Gritton and Darkwah. I would put Darkwah on with Elliot as a front pair. German and Paton on the bench. With the new lad Cole and Rowe on the wings. Plenty goals this weekend?

    Given Chadwick’s alleged bad mouthing of Couuty fans in the Main Stand I can see why Jim may have moved him on. That and the fact he does not look very mobile to me. Hope you are right with the formation MA – really excited about this Southport game now!
