Posh Sign Lloyd

It was inevitable really. Danny Lloyd signs for Peterborough United. Lloyd signs a three year deal to move to the Fens and begin a career in League One

It is a great move for what was County’s stand-out player of last season (though Lewis Montrose bagged the Player of the Year award at the weekend) and I am sure no County fan can begrudge Lloyd this great opportunity.

County do not benefit from any transfer feed as the player was at the end of his contract.

Of course, even though a move away looked on the cards I imagine most County fans will be disappointed and the departure leaves Jim Gannon with a rather obvious problem.

Just who is going to score the goals next season?

County have released their retained list and that list does not include Kayode Odejayi.

The club has said though, that they are in dicussions with Josh Amis – a player who has split opinion as to whether he can make the grade in time.

Expect plenty of player turnover this summer then!

So, good luck Danny Lloyd – we were lucky to have you this season – and from all at Vital County best of luck in League one!

Just returned from a river cruise down, and up, the River Douro and learn this inevitable news. Good luck Danny and I agree with Cropped and JG (great minds etc) we now need a proven Goalscorer.
