Rovers in the Cup for County

County have drawn Tranmere Rovers at home in next seasons Carling Cup first round.

The game will take place during the week commencing Monday 13th August with the likely date for the fixture being Tuesday 14th August.

Last time the two sides met in the League Cup it resulted in a 2-1 aggregate victory for Tranmere over two-legs in 1988.

Hopefully County can look to make a name for themselves in this seasons Carling Cup in a similar vein to that of Wycombe last season.
