Southport v County Preview

Stockport County really are looking for another win in order to drive their season forward. Whilst fans are not looking for a promotion season I am sure some are looking for more than just another season of stabilisation following all this summers activities.

Two points seperate the two teams ahead of tonights game with both teams trying to find their form they finished last season showing. County have managed a total sum of 10 points from 10 games so far this season with Southport managing 12 points from 10 games.

Southport were beaten away to Newport on Saturday in a 2-1 ddefeat, where as County managed a 0-0 draw away in Essex.

County have a fully fit squad available to them for tonights game meaning that Jim may favour Saturday’s squad in order to try and maintain some momentum ahead of the rest of the season.

I predict that County will be able to maange a 1-1 draw tonight as we look to just get some away day points to progress this season the way in which it should be going.
