Goalkeeper James Spencer has left County and joined League Two rivals Rochdale.

Spencer made 108 appearances for the club since making his debut in 2002.

Although I wasn’t the biggest fan of his, and I admit that, I would like to wish James all the best at Rochdale and any other future clubs he may join.

The last game he represented County in was the FA Cup 3rd clash with Premiership side Watford, in which County lost 4-1.

It seemed as though he had made the number one shirt his own at the beginning of the season, but too many mistakes let Spencer down and John Ruddy was brought in.

James made 21 appearances for County this season.

Best of luck Spencer.

Agree. Good luck Jamie. Hope you flourish there. Say hello to ALFie for me… what ya mean ALFie hasn’t gone?

Wayne Hennessey, who Spencer was second-placed to, might start for Wales against Czech Republic in Giggs’ last game

Good luck to him, and good luck to Stocky next season

Hennessey did play today for Wales… ended up 0-0.

By all accounts Hennessey did very well… will he be content to be number 2 (or 3?) at Wolves for next season?
