Stockport County came 28th in a recent poll conducted by Brylcreem.

However, this poll wasn’t about number of fans, loudness of fans, how far fans travel, how many games people go to. Oh no. It was ‘Who has the most stylish fans in the country?’

The survey looked at 4500 fans from the clubs, looking at all their different tastes, and then giving the fans a score out of 60.

Stockport County came 28th with a score 45, not bad.

Reading came top with a score of 52, whilst Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers came bottom with 36.

The top League Two club was Hereford United with 47, the bottom was Barnet with 38.

All I can say is that it has to be one of the most bizarre polls I’ve ever viewed in my life time!
