Clubs such as Newcastle, Wigan, Leeds, Blackburn, Huddlesfield and Nottingham Forrest are all chasing the signature of County starlet Kyle Brownhill.

Kyle also drew the attention of Notts County in the pre-season who tried to sign the County left back in a cut price deal, something of which did not suit the club.

Kyle has been at County since the age of 11 and in May signed his first professional deal with The Hatters, Kyle featured for County against Bolton in The Manchester Senior Cup game where scouts from Premier league side Newcastle and Championshiop side Blackburn were watching the game.

It is thought that the club would knock back any offer for the player who has only made one professional appearence for County, County want to keep hold of Kyle for as long as possible in order to make him a true asset to the club.

It’s all about the money, money, money. It would be great if we could hang onto this kid for a couple of years. As would hanging onto Ormson (and his critics are wrong in my opinion – he will be worth a mint) but I keep hearing rumblings of cash troubles again. I must listen to the Spencer Fearn podcasts where there is talk of matters financial. * I will supply the link when I find them *
