With James Gannon, Joe Connor, Sam Sheridan, Andy Halls and Carl Piergianni making a special appearence, last night was always going to be special.
The night saw lots of races run a long with lots of fun endured, with COWS describing the event as ‘a good night had by all’. A special thanks goes to ‘Ian Wardle and his staff at The Plough in Heaton Moor for their superb hospitality for Wednesday’s County Race Night.’

Just been in the Plough not 1 hour ago. They have the ‘Scarf My Father Wore’ bitter on and ‘Here’s to the Man From Uruguay’ bitter which was a bit tangy for my taste but nevertheless promotes County. Well done Blakemere Brewery.
What issue of the scarf have you got cropped? Any chance of getting it on line?
Hi MA, it a was bitter called ‘The Scarf My Father Wore’ but you make a good point about that magazine. I need to contact the authors and see if they would allow it scanned in and published.
