Ryan Fraughan and Sean McConville have been called up to the England C Squad for the friendly against India on September 6th.

Centre-back, former Peterborough Utd man, Carl Piergianni has been placed in the Contingency Squad list along with ex-County man James Vincent now of Kidderminster Harriers.

McConville and Fraughan will join the England squad after our Friday night home match against Luton on the 2nd, before possibly playing against India in Dagenham on Tuesday the 6th, and then travelling back to Stockport for our match the following Saturday (10th.)

Fraughan has impressed early on in his County career after joining from Tranmere Rovers, although he has struggled this week with a groin injury.

McConville made his first appearance last night in a 1-1 draw at Kiddy after signing from Accrington Stanley.
