County Cracker on Saturday!

Image for County Cracker on Saturday!

Saturday is nearly upon us, and with it possibly the biggest County home match for a few years.

Why?

Well, win and it is another £12,500 into the County coffers.

Win this and we are in the hat for FA Cup round 1 proper. We could be facing the might of Crawley …er…. sorry Portsmouth for example.

Win and keep this recent run of decent form going … keep the Edgeley Park attendances moving in an upward trajectory.

Win and keep building the growing ‘feel good factor’ about the place – it is Chester we face, and a raucous atmosphere should be on the cards.

We can look forward to a proper away following about the place … 700+ (?) I hope and a home gate topping 4,000 with any luck.

We will be able to potentially welcome back ex-County players Kieran Charnock, Sean McConville and Craig Hobson as well. Lovely.

Chester are of course, a Conference National team, so we inherit the ‘underdog’ tag but what are our chances in the game?

OK… rather than me spend time and effort finding out… why not pop over to Ian Brown’s site where Ian Watts has produces a super article, Chester FC, FA Cup preview !

Oh… incredibly for this potential crackerjack of a game it’s bargain price time.

Adults just £12 in!
11 – 17 years old… just £3 in !
10 years and under… just ONE POUND !

Go on parents… treat your kids.

Cash turnstiles will be open but experience tells me not to roll up at 2.55… get there 30 minutes early and soak it all in.

Come on County !
