County’s youngsters in the development squad gave newly installed Director of Football, Alan Lord, a real tonic last night as they walloped Padiham 5 – 2 at Edgeley Park in this Lancashire League West fixture.
It may well be that the road to County’s salvation (the purchase of Edgeley Park and a return of our Football League status) will begin with the sale of one of our young prospects.
Another Anthony Pilkington but with a better sell on clause?
