Scottish Premier League side St. Mirren are welcomed to Edgeley Park as Ian Bogie’s emerging side look to keep a clean sheet and build on some mixed results.

Blooding a number of hopefuls County have played four games away from home, losing 2-1 to Northwich Vics, beating Cheadle Town 2-1, losing 1-0 to Nantwich and winning 4-3 at Ramsbottom United.

No clean sheets there and to be honest I suspect we will fail to achieve that, even against a St. Mirren side that lost at home 4-0 to Charlton a couple of weeks ago.

Just three weeks remain until we face Boston at the start of the 2013-14 campaign? That’s the 2013-14 Skrill North campaign.

Skrill?

Ahhh yes, Skrill, The Blue square replacement sponsor – see here

Anyway, I remain unconvinced we are going to be ready in time but the St Mirren game may tell us a bit more about Stockport County 2013-2014.

Finally, a last shout out for Help the Hatters who have their Roadshow tonight (Fri 26th) at the Armoury at 7:30 (current and former County players are scheduled to appear, and the County Yearbook will be launched).

On Sunday HtH are at Offerton Cricket Club who are staging the Stockport County Cricket Match, with a full cast of current /past favourites booked to appear. The event starts at 14.00.

Come on County… clean sheet please and nick a goal or two to start building the momentum!
