David Poole came on as a sub and grabbed the only goal to boost the Hatters promotion hopes.
Jim Gannon was forced to make one change as Shaleum Logan, injured, was replaced by Jamie Smith at right back.
County saw a lot of the ball, but the only goal came as two subs combined. Proudlock played in the corner, and a deflection took the ball nicely to David Poole’s left foot to calmly slot home and give County the win.
