To borrow a line from Freddie Laker ‘book early!’. County have slashed ticket prices for the match with Barnet this Sunday and televised by Sky.

Chris Turner has appealed for the County faithful to turn out in numbers and to back the clubs ‘Break the Gate’ initiative.
Turner said “Two tickets for the price of one represents great value for money and I hope the people of Stockport come along to the game. There’s no doubt that a bigger crowd creates a better atmosphere and that’s good news for the players.
We are still unbeaten at home and have scored six goals in the last two games at Edgeley Park. We are determined to keep that run going against Barnet and a bumper gate will certainly help us. Could I ask every County supporter to persuade as many of their friends and family as possible to come and support us on Saturday”

In addition to the two tickets for one offer, season ticket holders can bring a friend for half the normal price – an offer that will be repeated later in the season.

Turner faces a happy problem as players return to fitness going into Sundays game. Tes Bramble will be available after recovering from a hamstring strain, Jermaine Easter should also recover from a knock.Bramble, County’s player of the month for October has been frustrated by his recent injury, picked up in training. Bramble says ‘ I’ve settled in well at Stockport now, a few of the other players who live in the flats near me have really helped. I will be available for selection on Sunday. I’m due to train properly on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.’
Bramble continues ‘The Barnet game gives us a chance to build on the good work we’ve put in since the Carlisle defeat, we’ve got a good record at Edgeley Park and if we play as well as we did against Swansea then we’ll be in with a great chance. Everybody’s looking forward to the Sky TV cameras coming down, there will be a few of the lads getting haircuts this week!’
