First Fixture In A Week And Four Days!

Stockport County will receive their first fixture for the 2008/2009 season in a week and four days time.

The draw for the first round of the Carling Cup will be announced at 10am on Friday 13th June.

Once again it is unclear as to how the draw will work, will it be an open draw? Will there be seeded sides? Will it be split into North and South? Will it be split into two and then seeded?

Last year County got Tranmere at home in the first round and then Charlton away in the second.

To be quite honest, I’m not sure how its going to work, although I wouldn’t mind Reading at home!

So the full draw, although actually there is probably some £10,000 license you need to publish it, County’s fixture at least, will be published on here at 10am a week on Friday.
